Third-party sources provide nutritional information for products on Instacart. This information is intended for discovery and educational purposes. We show this information to improve your shopping experience.

We aim to provide correct information for our customers, but we can’t guarantee that the nutritional, allergen, ingredient, or other product information shown are 100% accurate or complete. Actual product packaging and materials may contain more and/or different information than shown on Instacart.

Instacart encourages consumers to verify all product ingredients suit their dietary needs and/or medical condition(s). Please read all labels, warnings, and directions on product packaging.

Products found on Instacart may include nutritional labels or informational categories. We display the labels or categories for products identifying as such.

Label Definition
Vegan/vegetarian/pescatarian Typically includes products without meat, poultry, seafood (vegetarian/vegan), or dairy (vegan) ingredients. Vegan products don't usually contain ingredients produced by animals or animal by-products.
Paleo* Typically includes products free from added sugars, artificial sweeteners, grains, soy, peanuts, legumes, and trans fat. 
Keto* Typically includes foods with zero or limited carbohydrate content, and full-fat dairy products. Keto products usually aren’t grain-based and don’t include added sugars or artificial sweeteners. 
Atkins* Typically includes products with 0g of trans fat, and no more than 10g of carbohydrates per serving. Certain products containing whole grains are also Atkins-friendly.
Whole 30* Whole 30 products are usually free from dairy, alcohol, additives, legumes, oils, sweeteners, certain grains, and/or artificial colors or flavors.
Organic (ex. produce, meats, eggs) Products that identify as partially or fully organic (ex. produce, meats, eggs) on the product packaging.

Whole grain Products that are certified as whole grain or contain at least 8 grams of whole grain per serving.
Kosher/halal Products whose packaging identifies the product as adhering to the specific rules of the kosher and/or halal diets.
Low (ex. low-calorie, low-fat, low-sodium) Products whose ingredients list indicates a low amount of the relevant nutrient or ingredient, as defined by applicable regulations.
Free (ex. sugar-free, sodium-free, fat-free) Products with zero or limited amounts of the named nutrient or ingredient.
No artificial ingredients, sweeteners, or added sugar Products whose ingredients list contains no artificial ingredients, sweeteners, or added sugars.
